Checklist no.9
Spontaneous Trip

Be creative for this one due to your time and finances. Try to do something as spontaneous as possible with someone or by yourself. This can also include planning a trip in the future. Just make sure you are thinking "adventure" this week.

Try to build a memory for this week to reflect on. Google something fun near you, miles away, states away, or countries away.

If you can't travel now...than plan for something this week for the future and watch a lot of traveling shows.

My Example: My goal for "Spontaneous Trip" is to go up to Colorado's backyard and go to Hanging Lake which is about a 3 hour car ride from my house. This hike is pretty popular and I want to take my fiancé there.

DAY no.1

  • LOOK UP THE TOP PLACES TO TRAVEL TO LOCALLY

    • Try to find unique places to travel near you on the internet. This is a good place to start looking at pictures and getting you excited for an adventure.

  • From my search I was recommended to go to some cool parks and tours downtown.

  • This takes about 5 minutes.

DAY no.2

  • LOOK UP THE TOP PLACES TO TRAVEL IN YOUR STATE

    • Online is a wonderful thing. Look up destinations in your state to travel to, just a beautiful location to "get away".

    • Mountains, Lakes, Parks, Attractions, Hikes, Beaches, etc.

  • Colorado has some of the most amazing destinations out there. For a little travel spot, I usually go to Eldorado Canyon for a day trip, being only in the foothills about 20 minutes away.

DAY no.3

  • LOOK UP A DESTINATION LOCATION FAR AWAY

    • Find something you would really enjoy going to and see how much time and money it would take to make this dream a reality.

    • This will be good to have a goal to achieve down the road or at the end of this week.

  • I have always wanted to go to Boston to check out the history on the East coast.

  • I looked up tickets, and they were relatively cheap. I even looked up how much tickets for the Bruins hockey game would cost to go to while visiting. This took me about 10 minutes.

DAY no.4

  • WATCH A CLIP ON THE PLACE YOU WANT TO VISIT

    • Go online and type in videos on such and such. See if the videos you watch still attract you to this place or turn you off.

    • Sometimes I look up really footage, and it does turn me off on visiting that location and pick something new.

  • I watched clips on Boston and it made me still super excited to see the foundation of America and see the roots and historical sites. Just made me want to avoid visiting in the winter... This clip took about 6 minutes to help decide.

DAY no.5

  • GO ON A TRIP

    • Go on an actual trip, if its local, miles away, or states away, try to get out and adventure somewhere.

    • Do something that excited you.

  • I went to Hanging Lake and stayed up there for the weekend. This was fun to take the family up to the hot springs and than hiking up the mile hike leading to the destination lake so well known around here.

DAY no. 6 & 7

  • KEEP SAVING, KEEP RESEARCHING, and KEEP TRAVELING

    • There is beauty everywhere and can help with spicing up your life. Building memories is the best part of living.
