Checklist no.4
Sell Something

This checklist is mainly to just dedicate this week to focus your mindset to more business. This is a good trait to at least practice every once in awhile.

People might think that they don't know how to sell anything, that you don't have anything worth selling, or don't know where to go to sell something.

The to-do list is to get familiar with the resources you have at your fingertips and to have a little fun selling things around the house. Who knows....you might make some actual money from doing this.

My Example: My goal for "Sell Something" was to sell something almost everyday throughout this week and to find things around the house that I could re-sell.

DAY no.1

  • FIND SOMETHING AROUND THE HOUSE TO SELL

    • Sell something random on craigslist or facebook. This is a good way to learn business skills that all of us need to master to be successful nowadays. Learn to negotiate and get deals that benefit the both of you.

  • I Just looked in the garage and found some old pokemon cards... boy was it crazy how much those damn things were worth on ebay... suckers.

DAY no.2

  • POST YOUR PRODUCT

    • Even some of the most un- tech savvy people can learn how to post things on social media or craigslist these days. It is very simple to do.

  • Tip: Watch out for scammers and pricks. Yes they still exist, but don't let them get you down, cause you truly don't have time for that.

DAY no.3

  • NEGOTIATE/ STRATEGIC ARGUING

    • Learn the art of negotiating and know that it is not arguing when you go back and forth.

  • Aristotle knew it best when he persuaded people by understanding Logos, Pathos, and Ethos and knowing that Ethos: argument by character, is the best way to win any negotiation or argument. Be the likeable character and you will succeed.

DAY no.4

  • REPEAT AND SELL SOMETHING ELSE

    • Do this as much as possible. This is something that everyone can do, but hasn't because they aren't confident enough, think it's stupid, or thinks they don't have enough time.

  • Takes me about 5 minutes to post anything on craigslists and about a day to arrange when they can meet me up and sell it to them.

DAY no.5

  • SELL SOMETHING TO SOMEONE YOU KNOW

    • Sometime it is harder to get someone you know to buy something, but help them out with something they would use that you no longer don't.

  • This is where I find anything and everything, for example on the first checklist my friend wanted to learn the ukulele... so I sold an extra one of mine to them. Win, Win.

DAY no. 6 & 7

  • JUST ALWAYS THINK OF NEW WAYS TO MAKE A BUCK or SAVING â€‹

    • Keep this mentality alive with everyday lifestyle habits. Learn how to spend your money and learn tricks to how you can make more supplemental income.
